Been reading along over here for a while. Decided to make my
first second post after just posting a question in the GR Research thread
I live in Antwerp, Belgium that is and have been
into the hi-fi world for quite a few years now, also picking up the DIY side of things for the last couple of years.
Right now my system is a set of 2-way OB's powered by Hypex nCore and Rythmik Ucd's, active crossovers and room correction electronically handled by my Trinnov ST2. (room itself is also treated with an acoustic ceiling and several broadband absorbers)
Main source at the moment for streaming audio is a Roon based system, running on MacMini and hooked up to that same ST2, which also doubles as my stereo preamp.
Analogue playback on a lightly modified SL1210 with DIY (from a befriended audio enthousiast) phono stage.
For surround listening I run this set in 4.0 mode, with just 2 DIY surround speakers added (mounted invisible behind 2 photo absorbers), also fed by Hypex amps.
