Btw, this is to power a Dodd balanced tube buffer which I think draws a little under an amp.

I had Vinnie Rossi convert the power on one of his battery powered tube output Red Wine Audio amps to one of his new Mini PURE-DC-4EVR capacitor power units.  I am very happy with this silent power supply.  He has several output versions.  So he should be able to meet your requirements.  I will miss being able to turn on the tunes when/if the power company can't deliver.  But I won't miss having to replace the battery down the road.
