A nice gesture for sure about supporting their artists. I had read about their stream live but never joined. I owned quite a few of the Smalls Recordings, so I guess in a way I'm doing my part :)
Yes, the M4 are picking my interests but still on the fence.

By the way, md92468 you'll love Out of the Clear Black Sky. Mostly ballads. "We Loved You" was the first one released and once I heard it bought every new Hewitt that Smalls would put out. Salience, the last one is equally poignant.

You can also steam some of Frank Hewitt's music from Deezer.

If you live in the NY area, you are welcome to stop by for a listen of the M4s. Thanks again for the intro to Mr. Hewitt...

1. Stella By Starlight by Miles Davis (St. Valentines Day Concert)
2. Joe Henderson's Inner Urge (don't remember which one)
3. Just about anything on the Bitches Brew LP
4. Live In Tokyo by Gonzalo Rubacalba (best Autumn Leaves ever)
5. Timeless by Abercrombie

alternate to #5 would be Mood Indigo by Duke Ellington

A few I've heard, but getting itch to buy more music (or finally subscribe to Tidal).

Here's a shot at my top choices (not yet mentioned):

Acoustic Alchemy - Roseland
Earl Klugh - Sudden Burst of Energy
Fourplay - The Best of Fourplay
Holly Cole - Temptation
Jonathan Fritzen - Diamonds

Oops, gotta stop.

These artists get pretty good rotation. I have all their offerings.

Fatburger- TGIF
Jessy J- Hot Sauce
Paul Brown-Marc Antoine-Foreign Exchange
Rippingtons- Let it Rip
Spyro Gyra- Alternating Currents

All of JLM's are great too.
