I am selling my Loricraft PRC-4 record cleaning machine purchased new in 2012. The machine is in great condition, there is just some discoloration on the brass tonearm wand, which tends to happen over time. It comes with a near full spool of the nylon thread. $1,100 OBO.
Suction from the pump is exceptional and operates quiet (compared to VPI, Nitty Gritty) and vacuums/cleans much better than slot machines. These are laboratory standard scientific pumps which are quite and efficient. Set at 28 litres per minute flow for the pump ensuring even very dirty or warped records will be cleaned, and effective cleaning of very dirty records. Ideal for institutions that run their equipment for many hours at a time, or record stores that want to increase the value and price of their used records. The PRC-4 will outperform machines that may cost twice the price. There is a minor flaw on the acrylic top (front right, about ¾ cm) that I could not capture with my camera.
The PRC 4 is supplied in real wood premium Walnut veneer (no cover). Does not come with the original shipping box, but will be packaged securely for shipping (approx. 50lbs, Box will be about 20” x 22” x 12”). Asking price does not include shipping which is extra.
