Wow, literally a minute ago, I was playing his "After hours" LP, released in 2012... an album of standards with excellent recording (& playback) qualities! The vinyl is still spinning... Don't know why I picked it, but I did...

Saw the Eagles several times at MSG...Glenn always had a great sense of humor on the stage...the concerts were always incredible....welcome to the Hotel California Glenn.....you can never leave our memories and our hearts

I remember seeing the Eagles in Aspen, Col. many moons ago. I must of seen them at least half a dozen times. They played in a bar called the Gallery at the base of the ski mountain. It wasn't a big deal having them in town, there weren't a bunch of groupies and rabid fans around. ~~They already had their first album out~~Actually, this was before their first album and they were honing their act in preparation for what was to follow.

Its sad to Glenn Fry pass at, by today's standards, such a young age. Brings back a flood of memories. He's taking it easy now.

Glenn wrote some great songs; some of my favorites were Desperado, Lyin' Eyes and Take it Easy.

This is a sad piece of news.....One of the best groups ever and Glenn Frey was a very important part of it. We will miss him alot!

I saw the Eagles open for Jethro Tull in June, 1972 and no one had ever heard of them. They weren't received that well, but did gain some popularity a year or two later!
