The house is not too bad either. It needs a lot of work inside, but nothing we can't handle. It is fairly new and is 3,000 square feet.

Looks like someone is going to be busy mowing the lawn. Did you say 14 acres?

Thanks everyone. Right now it looks like a big hill to climb, but I know it will be really smooth down the back side.

Hi Danny.
On the back side, it's always going faster downhill...  :D
You wont move everything to the new place...
You need to do some kind of clearance sales to have
as little as possible to move.  :D

Awesome Danny! That does look like you got your own little Southfork ranch there. :D

Of course the lazy boy in me sees that front yard and hopes you got a herd of goats coming, cause thats a whole lotta mowing!

Yeah, moving is always a royal pain but once you get setup and have all the additional space to work with you'll be like a kid in a candy shop.

Keep the end result in mind and it'll make the hair pulling moments easier to deal with.  :thumb:

Since you'll be outside city limits ...does that mean you would
have to rely on the county for police and fire dept. services?

That is a very red house.

Congratulations Danny! All that land reminds me of the Bob Wills song "Miles and Miles of Texas". Also my drives across your state---it took me a couple of days to get to Texas from California, and a full day to get THROUGH it!

I hope you went to Turkey, TX on your way back. Birthplace of Bob Wills

Naw, I always took the southern route, down to Austin for SXSW and to visit Cornell Hurd and his guitarist Paul Skelton (R.I.P.), old pals of mine from San Jose. But next time for sure, and maybe Lubbock while I'm at it. I'll bet there's a museum and monument to Wills in Turkey, ay? I rarely work with a country singer who doesn't do a couple of Wills songs every night. I can't imagine how many times I've played "Take Me Back to Tulsa" and "Roly Poly" in my life!

Lots of acreage is common down here in Texas. Land is reasonable and we have a lot of it.
