OK, so RT totally bombed this, but I do enjoy seeing what Ryan Reynolds gets up to, ever since seeing him on 2 Guys and a Girl (a sitcom from the late 90's).  Anyone who has been married to Scarlett Johansson and is currently married to Blake Lively must be doing something right.  Must be that west coast Vancouver chill thang!   

This is a movie that will not likely do it for many (thus the ~21% RT rating), but I actually liked it.  I enjoyed the basic plot (though it was not difficult to predict), and I found the action enjoyable.

Good for a plane movie/rental/stream.

I liked it, too.  Sir Ben Kingsley is always great and I'm a big fan of  Ryan Reynolds.  It was a little predictable but a lot of fun.  Renolds imbues warmth and humanity into an otherwise stock character in sci fi.  Not a masterwork but well worth a rental (I saw it in the theaters).
