I saw this ad:

for a Pioneer Model SX-700T on the local Craigslist.
It looks well-cared for and has the original manual ( a nice perk)
I was wondering anybody's opinion on solid state gear of this era (late 60's).
I know a through going through (replacing caps, re-biasing etc) would be in order but, after that, is the sound as the seller says, "Great tuner and a nice tube like sound which is typical of the early solid state transistor amplifiers"
He's asking $80 which seems a little steep despite the excellent cosmetics...
