New Newbie

Hi,

I live in British Columbia, Canada, and have been "addicted" to music reproduction since I was a small boy. I once built a box made from plywood and put a speaker in it attached to an old car radio, and powered by a 12 volt battery. Each battery lasted about 2 days, so I didn't continue on that path for long. I started on the path to become an electronics engineer, but got sidetracked when computers came along. Have been working in Computer industries ever since, and while I still have the love of audio gear, my knowledge is sadly lacking.

Great to be here. The site was recommended to me by the admin of Audio & Video in response to a problem I have currently. The site looks like the best I've seen yet on the topic we all love.

Stay tuned for my first actual post.

Cheers

Welcome.

Yes indeed, your statement is correct.    I've found its members to be very knowledgeable, friendly, timely and down right entertaining.
