Got a Fet Valve 400R for sale. SOLD
« on: 6 Jan 2016, 03:42 am »
I have a Fet Valve 400R that got very little use for sale. Purchased almost exactly 2 years ago. Bought it to power my Maggies. Took some electronics classes and got into the DIY part of the hobby. Built some 4pi speakers and some SET mono blocks and I'm hooked. Anyway this amp hasen't moved since I set it up and almost no use for more than a year since I got rid of my maggies. Thought I'd give people here a chance to buy it before I do the Audiogon route. Got all the original packaging. It's basically like new and broken in. Like to get $1900 and I'll include shipping to the lower 48 and payment by PayPal. I have only posted a few times but I'm guessing the is direct messaging. Or just reply to the thread.

Note that the original AVA three year parts and labor warranty transfers to a second owner if the original owner notifies us of the sale.

The ship date on this 400R was 2/18/2014.  Thus a second owner would have an AVA factory warranty on this 400R until February, 2017.

This makes this pretty much a no-brainer purchase risk.  Note that it has the standard black faceplate.

Note too that a Fet Valve 400R can be upgraded to a 600R for just the difference in price, $500.

Yes it has the IEC60320 C13/C14 Socket. Didn't know they were ever built with attached power cords..
