It looks like the writing on the back of the amps says "Special Mono Extremes", not Kismets. There isn't any explanation in the ad that helps tell why they are Kismets. Caveat emptor.

I will reply here, since you ask good questions:

They have the standard Binding posts and RCA inputs.  Upgrading to the higher end WBT binding posts wouldn't take much effort.

The caps outside of the PCB are Symphonic Line.

I am not the first owner.  But I was told the age of the Kismet upgrade from the seller and would place it around 5 years.

Admittedly, I am not an expert on Odyssey Amps.  I will try and answer what I can.  I had the amps for about a year, they sound great.  No problem driving my 800 Diamonds.

They were originally Stratos Extremes.  The parts were upgraded to the Kismets. Now they are Kismets in Stratos Cases.

I will put that in the ad.
