Hi, I owned a pair of the original Gallo Nucleus Reference speakers with two plastic spherical speaker enclosures and the CDT tweeter mounted on the top in one of them, and stands. (see photo) I sold them years ago.

Now I have room for a second audio system and want to make it a vintage system based on the original Gallos. They must be in excellent audio condition with stands, but I will accept a pair in good cosmetic condition. Either plastic or aluminum speaker enclosures are ok.

Will pay shipping to Lexington MA 02421, and if necessary if you don't have the original cartons, for packaging as well. I'm a star rated eBay seller with 165 transactions (sbayle).

Years ago I owned the identical spkrs,  but with aluminum  balls.   Really excellent.   

Good luck in your search.   I rarely see them pop up used.   The plus is that the price should be very reasonable.

There's a set of Ultimates on eBay. I've owned a set some years ago; they're fantastic and I had run them in dipole. You will need a high-current amp, however, if you're going to run them this way.
