SOLD!Selling my Manley Shrimp, rated 7/10 due to age. Unit is approximately 8 years old. Manley now offers the Jumbo Shrimp for $3,800. Last time I spoke with Manley, they quoted me $800 to upgrade this unit to the Jumbo which adds a remote volume control and a 5687 stage. So, you could send to Manley and have the Jumbo option for less than $2k of retail.
Unit will not ship in original packaging or with a power cable. 1 of the lights on the Manley logo is also out, but does not affect performance at all. It is basically a Christmas tree bulb that is soldered in.
There are plenty of reviews on the web for the original that I am offering and the new Jumbo. Evanna also has a YouTube video on the unit.
Input tubes are 12AT7's and I am including the following: pair of Psavane T series from Grant Fidelity, pair of Amperex Bugle Boys, pair of JAN Black Sables from Tube Depot, pair of Brimars, pair of yellow label Sylvanias, and a pair of 6829 GE's (12AV7). All tubes are NOS w/ less than 10 - 20 hours on them. I settled on a pair of Raytheon 6829's and did not roll any after that.
I am also including the NOS GE 7044 tubes with approximately 200 hours on them. These are workhorses and only had to be replaced once since I purchased the unit.
**Additional Items I am including with original bid: 1 x Shunyata 15 A, 1 meter cable ($100 retail), 1 matched pair NOS Valvo E180CC ($65), 1 matched pair NOS Amperex 7062 ($100), 2 pair of small signal silicone tube dampers to reduce microphonics ($40).** Total value of ADD is approximately $300.
