Hey guys,

Recommended power levels for my speakers are 30 to 250W / channel.
Their nominal impedence are 6 ohms.

Now, if I am bi-amping, does this figure drop by half?

Lost, no it doesn't change, but you get to apply the TOTAL power (ie from the 2 channels driving one speaker).

But the entire issue can be complex.  What are you driving the speakers with now?  Tubed or solidstate?  Does it play loudly enough without clipping?  What's your goal in biamping?
