For sale is a slightly used Vandersteen M5-HP High-Pass crossover, purchased new from Audio Connection, an authorized Vandersteen dealer in April 2013. I paid $925 for the crossovers new. I am selling them now for $600. May be subject to prior sale, I will keep let you know.
Seller used this high pass crossover for two 2WQ subwoofers. The two 2WQ subwoofers are for sale under a separate post. In addition to being used with Vandersteen model 2W series subwoofers including the 2WQ, Vandersteen states the M5-HP High-Pass crossover may also be used with Vandersteen Model Seven, 5A Carbon and Quatro wood CT speakers.
This is the current AudioQuest Sky pigtail version, which has RCA input and output. The Sky is one of Audioquest's most expensive analog audio interconnect cables.
Vandersteen advises that the "performance of the system should be evaluated with the crossover set at the actual input impedance [of the main amp] as well as one setting up and down to determine which setting provides the best blend between the subwoofer(s) and the main speakers in your system."
