Sounds fantastic, preferable in some ways even to the HE1000. Light use (~300hrs) over 2 years. Sound like new. Unmodified.
Known minor issues:
There is a nick in the cable covering. (shown in photos)
Ironically there seems like some discoloration of the cable near the terminations were are in perfect cosmetic shape (tried to show this) I haven't noticed any sonic problems from this, or the nick.
The hifiman box has deterioration of the surface on the outside. The headphones are of courses in good shape and have been stored high and dry, but I think they used cheap material for the box
