These are incredible monitor style speakers in both sound and looks. They are extremely efficient but can handle high power amps as well. Read the numerous glowing reviews on the Internet. These retail for $1,800.00 and are universally acclaimed, offering them at $1100.00 obo. The only reason I am selling is because I found a pair of SELAH speakers I have been drooling over. They are in excellent condition and one must look extremely close to notice various micro miniscule nicks along the back edges of the cabinets, actually, I never noticed these imperfections when I purchased them from another member until I was preparing them off for the pictures. The rest of the walnut finish veneer areas are excellent. Of course the bottom black Plexiglas has some marks from being on stands but obviously you will not see these once positioned. The stands are not available for sale. They include the velvet socks as well as an original Legacy heavy gauge box. These are heavy little suckers (30 lbs.) so be forewarned as the buyer is responsible for FEDEX ground shipping cost with insurance and delivery confirmation by signature. If using PayPal, then add the fees of 3.1% unless using friends/family option. Read my feedback ("MOONCRIKIT") on all the audio sites and buy with very comfortable confidence...

The Studio HD is a butt kickin' compact monitor featuring an 8" Silver/Graphite bass/midrange driver and 1" folded AMT tweeter. The sound is open and airy, yet a kick drum "feels" like a kick drum. Vocals are robust and effortless. You can hear lungs fill with air before the first note is sung.
The rear terminal plate features removable copper jumpers to facilitate bi-amping if desired. Independent high and low frequency contour switches allow you to adjust the speaker to your room. Small speakers often come with trade-offs. Not the case with the Studio HD's. Thanks to extra deep tuning of the ultra efficient midrange/bass driver, they keep perfect rhythm down to the lowest note on the bass guitar - E 41Hz.
The Studio HD's can serve as front mains or as side or rear channels with ease. Coupled with the Metro subwoofer, Studio HD offers a building block approach to true high-end audio.
