I am a huge Amy fan , and I enjoyed the few Jud Apetow that I've seen, but this fell a bit short of my expectations. There were a decent amount of Lol moments, but it dragged on 20 minutes too long
It has 85% on RT . It's not bad if your looking for a few good laughs and a mindless Hollywood comedy .
7 out of ten stars.

That movie was made just one home away from ours. Actually got paid to par their trucks blocking my driveway. Have not seen it yet.

I kept expecting it would break out and get good.  Then it ended.

I thought it was just OK.

I liked Amy when she first started, but lately she's gotten a bit more annoying. I'm a big Bill Hader guy, but they didn't let him loose in this much at all. I was surprised he played it so straight as the male romantic lead. Bummer. Overall I don't get the crazy reviews for this film...it has a really high number on RT. I'd say it was good, but not worthy of such praise. I did think the sports cameos were great...Cena had me laughing, as well as Lebron.

I liked it but found the ending a bit too pat.  *** SPOILER ALERT ***  She kind of changed herself to conform to society's expectations more than I thought was consistent for the character.  One could argue that she grew up and realized she couldn't continue to live a life of hedonism and irresponsibility I guess.  Still I didn't think the last act was in character  *** END SPOILERS ***

Pretty much what I thought. Was expecting something a little more creative. In the end... somewhat boring.

It was OK but a little lame and a little too long. My friend and I agreed the movie needed a better editor and to be a 1/2 hour shorter.

Trainwreck doesn't qualify for "Bad Movie Night" where you rent a bad movie that you just have to see and are not disappointed. I does qualify for "Average Movie Night" when there is nothing else to rent.

One of the worst movies ever.  First of all, WAY too long.  Secondly, just not funny at all or creative.  Amy is very annoying.  I'm not a prude, but it's about  as creative as most rap music- that basically says "Let's F___ over and over.  Otherwise it was real good.

It was awesome. Will definitely buy as a keeper. While my gf and I were watching we kept saying wow this is really, really good. Really polished. Then I saw that Apatow directed it! Had no idea! I like Schumer but I was expecting some raucous hangover type movie, instead this is a 80s style R-rated rom com. John Cena was f*cking hilarious! And all the cameos were great. Lebron was great and the dynamic with Hader was well done.

This is the kind of film that either you like or you don't. I love this style of comedy when well done. The film walks a fine line between the dramatic elements, and does it well.

Matthew Broderick's 'best performance since Wargames'. Lol. That was awesome. I mean who doesn't love random Matthew Broderick cameos?
