On the weekend one of my speakers stopped performing. I switched the speaker cables and sure enough the other speaker was dead quiet. Thinking it was the 7BSST2 amp feeding the dead speaker I disconnected it and took it to the Bryston Factory since I live in the area. They took the amp to the bench and checked it out completely right there and then. With nothing wrong with amp, they walked me through the rest of my set-up. Mike suggested it might be my pre-amp, the BP-25 and the tape toggle switch or one of the the other toggle switches. With instructions to move it a number of times and then check the other switches in a similar manner as a start, I did as instructed. Well, my tunes are back. I am not technical enough to know the workings of the pieces I have but I have a heigthened respect for the tech's at Bryston.
Bryston service is on a level all it's own. In this day and age Bryston stands out. I love their products and with service like this I will extol the company every chance I get. I can't think of another company or service with such strong and respectful customer attention.
