Hello from Detroit

I've been lurking for a while but thought I'd say hello. I'm in the process of setting up my first stereo room so I'd appreciate any help I can get!  Looking forward to talking to you all!

Where are you at in Detroit? You might want to consider connecting with EdRo from Vapor Audio, he is in suburban Detroit area as well! He has a set of the Nimbus speakers at his place right now!

I'm a part of a small (currently 11 members) audio club centered on the west side.  We're box speakers, servers, and turntables with systems ranging from maybe $1,000 to $50,000.

Southeast Michigan Audio Club (SMAC) is huge with normally 25 attending each meeting, am planning on attending my first meeting this Saturday.

Audio Karma is another huge group centered in Detroit. 


When you get more posts (something like 3 - 5) under your belt we can private message more info back and forth if you're interested.
