It is still sad though.  His heroin issues were well known, but he really did play some of my high school anthems.

I hope he finally finds peace from whatever he was trying to escape. His addiction had really taken a toll on his voice, career and life. My favorites from his bands were the first two STP albums and the two Velvet Revolver albums.

Sad indeed.  Berto and I were supposed to see his show at the Paramount Theaters on Sunday--had the tickets, but plans fell through.

Life is funny.  RIP
