Behringer DCX2496 with a full set of mods from Pilgham Audio: Sample Rate Converter, Active Upgrade with 6 Channel Volume Control, Linear Power Supply, Regulators. Unit can be programmed from a PC (includes RS-232 to USB converter). Does not come with a remote control (needs a simple Philips RC - info provided in the documentation set.)
The cost of the parts alone, including the cost of the stock DCX2496 is over $1,000. Stock unit was upgraded from new.
