This today from Slipped Disc:

"Knoxville Opera has put out a notice for auditions on social media. Under the cautionary heading ‘Restrictions’, it announces:
‘Knoxville Opera will cast age appropriate, attractive artists in these roles’.

Oh, really?

Here’s another howler from Knoxville Opera’s Fb page:
‘Just wanted to make something clear. Our annual gala event this Saturday is “The Prima Donna Ball” not “The Pre-Madonna Ball”. This is important.’

Gets better and better.

Well, you got to admit a 60yr old Brunhilde is a little much.

Well Doc, you always were one for a pretty face, in or out of uniform. Actually, I usually find any Brunhilde to be a little too much, not being the world's biggest Ring fan, but I'm trying.
