Wait until Wall Street sees this return on investment

If this keeps up my Odyssey gear will pay for my retirement. Auction ends in about an hour. It must be bogus. Earlier today, high bid was around $750.

I was going to bid on this earlier.

I wonder if the seller pissed someone off enough to blow his auction while he's out of town.

I could be wrong.... but I smell a scam...

sometimes fraudulent people "hack in" to legitimate users names

generally poorly misspelled words give it away

finally, when someone spots a scam, it's good to bid extraordinarly high to keep others from bidding

Interesting. I emailed the seller early on to ask questions...

He responded saying that he was offered $950 to stop the auction early but he wanted to give everyone a chance. I responded by saying, "take the $950, I don't think you can do better."

Maybe, just maybe, the seller is a cheat. And the convenient "I'll be out of town" line is a phony alibi to cheat up the price. <shrug>

Can someone please explain why this thread and why this amp did not sell at $3040?  Am I missing something?

No, I know.  However, why would the reserve be over $3040?  It just does not make sense.

I've seen people try this on Ebay also. I think they believe people may think it must be worth it if the price says so. At least this is my opinion.

There was no reserve on that auction.
