Wyred4Sound DAC-2 DSDse with Mods
Changes to my system so no longer need this unit.
Perfect appearance and operation. Great DAC at the retail price, at this price a steal, particularly with the mods that made a great DAC even better.
Purchased used in 2014 as DAC-2. Sent to W4S for factory upgrade to DAC-2 DSDse May 2014. At the same time a new black case was factory installed. Virtually a new unit after the upgrade.
Sent to Noble Electronics for modifications October 2014. Added Stealth diodes, Cerafine and Elna caps, silver plate IEC contacts, DNA filters and mods, and more. Result of this mod was a more organic, analog sound, better bass extension and definition, more natural mids.
Looks like new, few small marks on bottom from mounting on isolation cones.
Original manual, remote, CD, AC cord, USB cable, shipping box.
