I'm selling a pair of floor-standing two-way Conrad Johnson Synthesis LM-260 Speakers, in very good condition. These have not been made in a while, and look and sound beautiful! The cabinets have minimum wear (with only one moderate scratch on one cabinet.) and are very attractive. The grills are in bad shape and are not used, but can be remade (looks and sounds better without them anyway!) All original drivers and crossovers (with CJ's own CJD capacitors). I'm running them with a Class D amp (300w) and they sound great. I can imagine they will sound even better with a CJ style tube amp. If you're looking for an affordable alternative to classic Spendors and Harbeths, these will fit the bill.
"Synthesis is a subsidiary of Conrad Johnson. The Synthesis LM 260 is a 2 way, bass reflex system with a 1 inch dome tweeter and 8 inch polymer cone woofer. Bass response goes down to 42 hz. Cabinet measurements are 12" wide, 11" deep, 39.5" high.The LM 260 was in production the late 80's to early 90's"
Selling at the listed price because these were an intermediate stop until I got the speakers I was waiting for! I'm in Los Angeles and, as of now, will not ship them because I do not have the original boxes.
