Neil Young "Decade"

Is there ever going to be a good sounding Decade album? What are your thoughts? Or were the Master Tapes just not really any good?  :scratch:

Thats a very good question! I always thought that record was not recorded that well. Now I know other people think so too!

Don't know that there is any truth to this, but I remember hearing with it first came out, that some (many?) of the tracks were recoded in Neil's Canada  home, in a room with a roaring fireplace. That's the clicks/ticks/pops you hear.

Go figure?

I have a recent reissue, and I agree about the overall SQ.

It's been a long time since I played Decade, but isn't it just a "greatest hits" package from Young's prior 10 years?
