Looking for any Odyssey equipment owners in the north Florida/south Georgia area who would be amiable to a listen.    I live in the Florida panhandle.

Regards,
Jim

What are you wanting to hear? Speakers, amp, or preamp? I'm close to Gainesville, which is quite a drive.

Well..... Khartago amps, Candela pre, Kismets.... stuff Klaus shows at shows.   Gainesville is only a hop, skip and a jump.   I'm in NE Fl.   Thanks for responding.

I'm in central east FL - have a Candela preamp and a custom Odyssey Massiv Rack (matching speaker stands too)

I've got the Odyssey Cyclops and Suspiro phono stage. Great gear by the way. :thumb:

I don't have Odyssey gear but interesting how many of us are in the central to north Fl area. Palm Coast area ( close to Marineland) here

Funny you mention that. When I first called Klaus about building my amp, he told me that he was considering planting roots here in Lakeland or somewhere near here and building shop here. That would have been cool! We discussed a well known coffee shop downtown that he visited when he was here years ago. Small world!

Yep, there was a time around 2000 when he was giving serious consideration to the Brooksville area, but that passed.

I live in sun city center which is central west between Tampa and Sarasota. I belong to the Suncoast audio club and I am thinking of how to entice Klaus to come down to this area for a club meeting in the future where he can talk about all the great service and products he makes for all of us that own them. If I could pull this off maybe all you Odyssey owners can come to the meeting and meet Klaus. The meeting would take place in the Tampa/Sarasota area and we would have about 50-60 or more attending.

What do you say Klaus? Would love to have you visit our club.

I'd be down! :thumb: I would be surprised though since he is so busy, I don't think he stops by here on AudioCircle much anymore. But what do I know...

I'm in the panhandle, Niceville.  Have Stratos monos with Kismet internals driving Kef 205/2's and an HT-3 for center and surrounds.  Welcome to drop by... on the road a lot

That's true - he was going to deliver and help set up my rack (pic in my last post) on his way to vacation in the Florida Keys a bit over a year ago but something came up (and he had to cancel the vacation)  and he did a great job arranging to get it to me - via air freight and then found someone to get it from the Orlando Airport to my house as I did not have a big enough vehicle at the time.

Maybe if we're lucky - he'll decide to do that vacation again at some point and then stop at someone's house along the way and arrange to do something.
