Scott Kennebeck is one of most gifted tenors in the St. Louis area. He is cantor at Cathedral Bascilica, executive director of Cathedral Concerts, and has toured in Europe. I know him as a member of the Cathedral parish. He just released a Christmas CD that was recorded at the Cathedral, with the church's Kilgen organ (118 ranks, 7,621 pipes) as accompaniment.
The recording is excellent (CD jacket includes details of the microphones used) and the music is wonderful - no seasonal pop drivel here.
