Patty Griffin & Damien Rice on Austin City

I'm looking forward to this ACL showing more than any in recollection.
Patty Griffin is the main draw (for me) but Damien Rice is only slightly behind.

Did you catch Robert Randolph and the Family Band on ACL?
It was the first time I'd heard or seen him/them. What a great performance and excellent musicianship.

Missed the ACL show, but Robert Randolph and the Family Band are fantastic. He came out of the "Sacred Steel" movment, and has been on the "jam" band scene for a few years. IMHO both of his releases are quite good and worth owning.
