Selling my Jensen XLR to RCA adapter/isolator. This is model PC-2XR and contains two high bandwidth Jensen transformers to convert a stereo pair of XLR outputs to RCA input. This is arguably the best way to take the balanced output from your DAC or preamp to an amp or preamp that only has RCA inputs. In addition to doing the conversion it also provides isolation for your grounds. I was using it for the XLR outputs on my Vega DAC but no longer need it. Many DACs add extra circuitry internally to convert to single end RCA's so using your XLR outputs can improve your sound.

This unit is in mint condition and currently sells for about $250.

Does the conversion work the other way, too?  I.e., unbalanced to balanced?

I checked Jensen's web site and they do not recommend it. It won't break anything but any sonic advantage is lost or even hampered. They have another device for going RCA to XLR.
