Id like to try cpu audio without going crazy. Thinking about a inexpensive note book to just get going. I have a usb dac and external usb hard drive Then move up the food chain with a mac mini or silent pc plus nas
Anyway- can some run let me know some general minimum PC requirements to run J river or amarra smoothly....can this be done effectively with a cheap notebook? any recommendation for budget models would also be welcome...
Of course if the experienced folks think its a waste and best to just run a used mac mini headless dont hesitate to chime in. Thanks
