This is the two box version of Dan's statement preamplifier. It has a separate power supply and umbilical cord that goes between them, and does require two power cords (generic stock cords included). If you are looking at the ad you probably already know what it is. If you do not, check the
Modwright website and various online reviews. This preamp is just a few years old and barely broke in. This is Dan's flagship SOTA tubed preamp. I got it directly from Modwright and have enjoyed it immensely in the time I've had it. I've been using it with Dans wonderful KWA 150 Signature amplifer (also for sale here). Sadly life changes have just not allowed me the indulgence in listening time as I once had, and other expenses are looming on the horizon. So it is with a heavy heart that I let these go to a new owner. The preamp is in excellent shape and functions flawlessly and I have the original boxes and papers. Local sales (Seattle) are favored but not necessary. MSRP is just under $10K. Mine probably has about 300 hours of use - $6.5k (net to me) + shipping. Discounted for cash and carry local sales.
