My venerable Hhb CD recorder has been acting up for a while now with multiple CHK DISC errors and with the last go around it wouldn't finalize the discs if I hit the Pause button - hunka crap.
AVNerdguy suggested I clean the lens with high grade isopropyl alcohol on a Q-Tip and then brush the lens with a dry Q-Tip and sho nuff, it works just like it used to many moons ago.
A couple minute, 5 cent fix, you can't beat that one.
