Just a reminder that we have two weeks left to Toronto audio show and the location has been changed again!!

I do not know why they have robotic toys for kids! This is most likely a CES (which I have never liked) but it is in Canada not U.S.A.

Looks like a great setup, can't wait to hear reports on the sound of the new BDA-3! The picture of the open unit shows off the circuitry, would like to see a more close-up perspective. There's nothing on the BDA-3 on the Bryston website yet. TIA, and have a great show James!

Yep, looks like a very good audio room for the Model T's to really shine. Similar to my setup but with a little over twice the width of my room to the back wall there, that's good.

However I'd move the T's 12' apart, I'm guesstimating you have 'em 10' apart. :smoke:

Hi Mag

Yes we are sitting 10 feet away so they are 10 feet apart.  You are correct though the ModelT's have such great dispersion that you can place them very far apart and still maintain a strong center image.

I was very busy this year and I did not have any plan to show up at the show, but it was a nice day and I was there only for few hours and out.

TAVES 2015 Consumer Electronics Show's - Bryston Room:

The Bryston Room sounded really good ! — great set-up, and not with a super high-end price tag!

This room sounded better than some of the ones I've seen and heard in the mega-buck range. —

Great job Bryston!

I also went into the Bryston room to inquire about the BDP & BUC-1 and the guys at Bryston were more than helpful in fact went they out of there way to assist and answer my questions while being treated to there excellent sounding system.

The TAVES show reinforced my thoughts that although my gear isn't in the same league as most of the systems on display, a bit dated and that I do need to replace the PreAmp, it's still has a decent sound that I will continue to improve it.

    TAVES 2015 - Comments:

    1. The Bryston display at the Toronto audio fest sounded amazingly good — better than some of the big guns of the business.
    Ernie

2, I agree that Bryston's room was among the vey best at the show.
    Bjarne Hansen

    3. I went to a Bryston night at a local dealer and came away amazed.
    Michael Proctor·

4, Agreed Ernie Fisher. Bryston is one special brand. Great product, people, sound, and service. Hat's off to them.

    Good morning James:

Ernie Fisher hit the nail on the head.

None of the high priced audio systems that Denis Tremblay and I listened to at the TAVES show could equal the quality of the Bryston system.

    Great value!

    MEMO: To All Bryston Customers
SUBJECT: Dealer Feedback on Bryston TAVES Demo

To: James Tanner and Associates of Bryston Ltd.

My wife Renee and I very much enjoyed meeting and speaking with you, Brian and Steve at the 2015 TAVES Consumer Electronics Show. Our trip was well worth the time and effort and we were rewarded with your kindness and consideration. Thank you so much.

My company, Virtual Theater Solutions, has been using Bryston electronics: amplifiers, pre-amps, DAC’s since 2007 and we have been entirely satisfied with all aspects of the products. Performance, build quality, visual presence, warranty coverage, and all other important qualities of these products has been exceptional.

As I explained at the show, I live and have a custom installation business located in the Central Ohio area and for several logistical reasons I had not been able to personally hear any of the new Bryston speaker products. After examining all of the specifications, downloading the manuals and looking at the pictures in the brochures and scouring the internet for information, I was convinced that these products were more than worthy of praise that I had read from reviewers and audiophiles who have written about the Bryston speakers.

But I had not heard them myself, in person. I was becoming more and more frustrated when I contacted you via an audio forum and you told me that Bryston was exhibiting at the 2015 TAVES Show.

As we entered the room my wife walked straight to the Model T’s and admired their beauty. She and I were immediately impressed with their classic and clean design and how they would fit in and complement any decor. After looking over the full line of Bryston speakers on display we sat with you in the listening area and were totally fascinated with the complete and immersive sound stage in front of us.

The Model T’s formed a wide, deep, tall and full sound field that was essentially three dimensional. The music filled the large room from floor to ceiling and well beyond the speaker boundaries through the back wall with tight, deep, powerful bass; delicate, detailed, crisp highs with articulate and sometimes forceful mid-range vocals and instruments. I thought that the balance between these qualities was astounding.

I would encourage anyone who has heard about the Bryston Model T’s  but has not actually listened the speakers to make every effort to do so. You will come away impressed and convinced the Brystons deserve the rave reviews and favorable comments from audio professionals and fans.

I have contacted Gary Dayton and hope to soon have the privilege of offering the Bryston speaker line to my customers.

    Sincere Thanks,
    Mark Barbour

    Hi James,

I just read the interview that you had in Canada HiFi ....

Bryston was the best sounding room at the 2015 TAVES.

    MEMO: To All Bryston Customers
SUBJECT: Bryston - Toronto Audio Show 2015 – 6 Moons

    November 2015

“At their price, the Bryston flagship speaker held sway in a luxuriously new Santos finish.

Ridiculously underpriced by audiophile standards, this one could play studio crisp with massive full-range kick all day long...

Mr. Tanner has good reason to smile.”

“The 'built like a vault' Bryston electronics handled themselves with distinction.

The large room was a wall-to-wall assortment of overbuilt amplifiers, preamps, integrateds, and DACs.

Fresh out of the gate were some new phono products on display.”

Those shows look impressive, I wish we had something even remotely similar here in Australia.

With no real audio shows and sparse dealers, most purchases and playing has to be done from reviews and photos from the internet.

SUBJECT: Bryston TAVES Show Report – UHF Magazine

“Bryston had its usual room, with enough space to include a large sampling of its loudspeakers.

It sounded excellent, as it always does.

Among the new products is this: BDA-3 DAC

That's the BDA-3, the latest version of the excellent BDA-2 digital-to-analog converter we reviewed in UHF No. 96. The DSD format has been added.

The new DAC has its digital circuits on discrete boards that can be changed as technology advances.”
