If you are still looking for input on a tube phono preamp, check out the Decware ZP3. I own their ZMA tube amp and love it. A friend with a much higher level phono setup used one and it is quite nice. You will need one of their step up transformers for MC, but that combo will be very nice. I use a SUT with my setup as well into my tube preamp that has a MM phono section.
