I've been building PC's for a hobby for about 30 years, dabble in woodworking, have a crapton of fairly good headphones (Oppo PM-3, Senn Hd 650, Hd 700, Alessandro MS-2, etc) and I'd like to step up my home theater from the low end Polk's pictured here.
It's a 3.1 system with a good Yamaha reciever (RX-V3800) and an Oppo BDP-93 Blu ray player.
I'm interested in building a new set of speakers that would fit in my current space and be able to put out very good sound at low power levels. I can only crank it up when my wife isn't home

Yes, I could purchase some great speakers but reading these forums got me all liquored up to try and create a set myself.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
