Well now that I have the Version #2 of my all DHT 26-26 DC 45 stereo amp pretty much all debugged and working great.
Now I have too many amps, again. So instead of disassembling the whole thing and reusing parts I going try to leave this one in good working order.
The amp has been used as a test bed for developing this all DHT directly coupled 45 SET design. It has a modern Low DCR P.S. design and has modified
grounding and signal pathways. ( Use of Multiple TCSS and large gauge Mil spec. wire).. also has Tuned ( multiple Caps ) Rk bypass on inputs and out puts.
It sounds very good on Hi-Eff speakers, it has lots of drive and tone ! If you never heard an all DHT amp .. it's really a pleasure to be savored.
The amp is about 2 years in the making, I make no excuses there is plenty of bent wires , solder globs and shrink tubing. But it sounds really good.
The output transformers are Hammond 125ESE's. They sound very nice but when I installed my new Electra-Print PSSS output transformers they brought the amp to
a different level. Those E-P outputs are now on the Version #2 build of this amp.
I will sell the amp for $600.00 with tubes....... I will make this offer available to any GAS member for pick up only.
I will not ship this amp.
