Hi all, I've always loved quality audio although over the past twenty or so years I've been busy with growing children and work. I have a renewed interest in quality audio systems and came across this forum. I know I'll learn from these discussions and hope I can add a thing or two.

Thanks for having me!

Thanks everyone! I've owned the Audio Research SP3 for at least 30 years. Traded a Denon integrated amp for it. I had the local Audio Research AD put new caps in it back in the '90's and then brought it to Audio Research for a look over, replaced the carbon volume control with a new (Alps?) volume control and they had one rack mount faceplate lying around so I got that. I still have the original non- rack faceplate. I powered it back up last week using a variable transformer and started at 10 volts and raised it 10 volts per hour. It still works, still sounds good!

I have a PAS 3 reworked by VanAlstine also. Amps include two rebadged Bryston 7B's and a bryston 3B. Oh yea, a Carver PM175 magnetic field amp and a QSC MX1500.

I have two big problems right now. 1)The AR- LST speakers High Freq's are not working. 2) the wife does not want to see all that gear in the living room.

So it goes...
