FS: Tube Audio Lab WE91A clone
« on: 25 Sep 2015, 09:35 pm »
Very new build of a WE91A clone 300b amplfier.

http://www.tubeaudiolab.com/id252.html

Selling because I just bought a Coincident phono stage which can drive an amplifier directly but my current amp is not sensitive  enough.

This is a recently completed 300b based stereo amplifier from Tube Audio Lab.The amp does have precision stepped attenuators ($500) so it could be driven directly by a digital source.

The price does not include the 300b tubes. These must be supplied by the buyer.

Hello - you appear to be blocking PMs.

Is it *quiet*?  Into what kind of speaker?

I've had several of Min's amps, and while they are nice, none were all that quiet.  All had some hum.  But this was several years ago, and maybe he has improved.

Thanks.  I am seriously interested in the amp will be silent on my 100 dB/W speakers.

It has AC on the filaments so there is some low level hum. I measured 4 millivolts at full volume. My speakers are 93db efficiency and I can't hear the hum from my chair.
