Danny, in a few threads you recommend really wide bases for both the X-static and Wedge base and say it is for stability.
What do you mean by stability? Is it a safety concern or done for better sound?

The large base keeps them from moving around. The wider and deeper the base the harder it is for the movement of the woofers to move the speakers in any way. So yes, it makes them sound better.
