Saying hello and glad to have found this forum. I recently decided to resurrect the Linn Axis turntable I've had in storage for the last 18 years, along with the 2,000+ vinyl LPs I've been lugging from one garage to the next every time we moved. I'm a 65-year old musician (bass player) who recently retired from playing due to tinnitus and hearing loss, so am redirecting my need for music to my stereo system (i.e., instead of obsessing about bass gear, I'm now obsessing about audio gear!).
I recently picked up a pair of Klipsch Forte speakers (c.1986) in very nice condition off of CL and found my way to this forum looking for some tube gear to complement them. I haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet--just getting the lay of the land, so to speak--but I look forward to listening and learning from all of you who've been into this much longer than I have.
