Thanks Jay.

I'm holding off on a new amp for the Wedgies until these are available.

Does this amp have a preamp output for the servo subs? If not I will need to wait for the separate preamp and monoblocks. It may be awhile before the separates are available though.

Mike,
Nope, no preout section in this, this is just an amplifier so no  preouts., I'm using the 2nd set of variable output on my Dodd pre to  pass to the  A370's.

Jay,

So this one is a four channel power amp only. I was thinking of something different. If I remember my last conversation with Danny about this correctly he is planning on bringing out a DAC and four channel integrated amp first with a separate preamp and power amp to follow sometime later.

It was the four channel integrated amp I was thinking of when I asked my earlier question.

Sorry about that. I wasn't paying close enough attention to your description or I would have realized the amp you were reviewing was not an integrated.

A DAC and the four channel amp is first. Then a new pre-amp and possibly an integrated. Lots of details still in the works. Hang in there.

Hanging in.

So the four channel amp is not an integrated but strictly a power amp?

Yes.

Why 4 channels and not 5?  I know a lot of people with 5.1 systems.  Not so many with quadraphonic systems.

I believe it is actually a 2 input channel amp with 4 hi level outputs of which 2 are hi-passed.

That is correct Ed..
I need to split the networks in my OB7 c/o's and try bi-amping, 2 high passed channels to  OB woofers & tweeters, full range channels to the  lower 4 woofers. of each speaker

These amps are intended for hi-fi  music systems, they are not really  a great solution for  HT applications
