The Speaker and Stereo Store lives on

I am Wylie Williams, the owner of the Speaker and Stereo Store, and also the only employee.  Although I closed my store In 2003 I stayed in business as a home based business.   I am still a dealer for everything but Sony (they want a store or big custom install business, neither of which is me), and have actually gained access to more high end lines than I had before.
I see a few GAS names that remind me of old customers (Sturgis for sure; Hi Sturgis!) who probably think I'm out of business.  To see what I do now check out www.speakerandstereostore.com where you will discover that web design is not one of my talents.
I am a dealer for Gallo and I have the Signature 3 on demo.  Right now they are set aside while I am listening to a pair of Legacy Signature III that a customer has graciously allowed me to audition while awaiting delvery the 16th, but I could move them into position for audition pretty easily.
I can be reached at 314-692-2230 most of the time between 9 AM and 9 PM 7 days a week.  If you miss me leave a message.

I had no idea you were still involved in the industry. I will most gladly refer to you any customers we get looking for your product line up. I'd also like to pop in by sometime and say hello. :)

Hi Wylie,

Welcome to GAS. Glad you found us.

Just a quick note if I might, here at AC we try to keep our advertizements and announcements up in the Market Square. The Regional Circles like GAS are used to keep in touch on a personal level, find out whats going on around town, who's got what gear in on loan, where the next get-together is, stuff like that.

As you can see, we've got a couple other dealers that participate, Tim from Best Sound and Thom from Flips (plus another one or two that watch from the shadows). I'm glad to see that you are still around (bought from you on several occasions myself) but please, try to limit your posts in the GAS Circle to general audio rather than promotional.

Feel free to use the heck out of the Market Square (as you have). Thats what it's there for  :D

...and again, Welcome Aboard!

.... oh and guys..... NEW GUY!....... He's gotta host the next get-together!

Hey Wylie,
Good to hear from you, and glad you are still keeping your feet wet. I think a few of us would love to take a good listen to the Gallo's. Maybe you can make it to the next session. Or maybe you would like to host one  :). Look forward to seeing you.

Welcome aboard, Wylie!
Look forward to meeting you, and hearing your tastes in music and gear as well!

I look forward even more to when Scott actually convinces someone to host !
That was with elixirs of refreshment, right Scott?  :D

Oh, you'e right.
Lets see....... I think a nice selection of single malt scotch's to start the afternoon off would be in order. Followed by a nice appetizer of (say) smoked salmon and a fine aged cheese served on small toasted waffers prior to the entree of (maybe) medallions of beef marinaded then sauteed in garlic butter and herbs then served with a Bordelaise Sauce or creamy Blue Cheese and Wine Sauce. Not sure about which sides we should have but we should follow up the fourth course with some fine aged cognac and a good Dominican cigar (wooden stick matches would be preferable as a fuel source).

Thats how it's been at all of our get-togethers.....right?

Scott's description of the typical meeting's fare of food and drink makes me eager to attend the GAS next meeting at his place.  Scott, please let me know the date so I can fast for a day or two beforehand.

Regards,

Wylie

Wylie,

I see you carry my favorite brand of all time Phase Technology.

How do the Velocity V8 compare to the PC 1.1II?

Thanks
