All SOLD --- So I totally splurged and picked up a new set of speakers for my office/desktop rig. They were expensive. Now I need to sell off my other small speakers which are not going to be used much, if any, in the future. I love all these speakers and really hate to sell them... but I need to replenish the coffers.

Up first we have some lovely baby ADS's. The ADS L300. This walnut pair is one of the nicest pairs I have ever seen. The grills are pretty much flawless, the sides are very very good. The backs are nice as well. The bottoms have some scratches, one more than the other, they were this way when I got them. Just a bit of dust on the tweeter (common on ADS speakers cause of the sticky fluid on the silk dome.) They could use a little Howard's, but are very nice. I'd say 8/10, conservatively. Excellent desktop speakers.

Next are the speakers the new ones are replacing. These are a very excellent set of Tekton Design's 4.5 full-range speakers. They use the Fostex FE103E driver which is very fast and honest. I love these speakers. Using them with a 15wpc EL84 tube amp on my desktop was just sublime. Bass reflex cabinet. I bought these used a couple years ago and they have been great. I am not in a hurry to sell these and would hang onto them if I didn't need the cash-ola. I'm not sure on the wood species on these either, but they are very pretty. The grills are in good condition, maybe just a bit faded from sun... but not much. No major rips or tears that I could see.
