A friend offered me his Vyger.  Anyone know anything about them other than they are nice eye candy?
Has a Rega 300 arm mounted that comes with it.

Buy it....the price is a true steal.  And it's gorgeous.  I believe this model was a few thousand when it came out.  Quite a number of turntable makers took some cues from Vyger early on, including the thicker plinth and platter.

They were $3-4K when introduced... there have been new ones available lately for $1700.  I've heard they are tricky to keep the belts from wandering.

Has anyone heard anything about this table?  I know that the price is deeply discounted, but the real question is, what about quality issues??

I saw you already own 2 Technics SP10 mkII, why bother with a belt drive, the SP10 in a well designed plinth is hard to beat.

Actually, one of the SP-10's is a very long term loan from a friend... going on 4 years now.  Part of the curiosity is never having owned a hi end belt drive turntable.  If anyone has anything positive to say about this table other than it's pretty.
