SOLD! SOLD! For sale here is a beautiful pair of Klipsch Heresy speakers
circa 1984 in Hardwood Walnut Oil (HWO). This pair is one of the last runs of
the sought after Heresy 1’s. Serial numbers are consecutive. I am the second
owner having purchased them from the original owner less than 6 months ago.
They have never been shipped as he picked them up directly from the retailer
(he no longer had the boxes and/or packing materials). All the corners are
sharp and this pair is in excellent condition, both cosmetically and
operationally. I have replaced and upgraded the original crossover with Crites
E-2 crossovers (better components) and also the tweeters have been replaced and
upgraded with Crites CT-125 tweeters (much better sounding diaphragms). These
upgrades valued at $485 bring the performance of these already excellent
sounding speakers up to the next level. I have the original crossovers and
tweeters should the buyer desire them.
I have accumulated way too many speakers so these are available.
Local sale only in the NW Indiana/Chicagoland area as I would not want to
chance shipping damage.
