Don's SoundScape 8's in Galaxy Gray Mica

Don wanted a pair of SS8's and a matching SS8C center channel.  He wanted it in a gray automotive finish.  His girlfriend also had a gray car and loved the color.  He settled on a color called galaxy gray mica and we were able to find that exact color for him.

Here are the results...



He also had us build a SS8C center channel to match.

It was not possible to show it in the photo, but the mica in the finish gave it a real sparkle.  I thought they turned out very nice.

That's got to be the hardest color to photograph, I can't really picture it even after seeing it.

What can I say, I like the sleek modern look of the painted finish...I guess I'm just old fashioned that way.  :D

When Don receives them he'll see how nice the pearl/sparkle really is. Just like a pic doesn't do the veneers that Jim does any justice, same is true for the paint.
