He is playing free in South Park tomorrow night. Should I go?

Agree - he puts on a great show. Nice player, good singer, storyteller, more a small venue/intimate kind of player but I'd check him out anywhere if convenient.

Thanks guys ! We are going. :thumb:
Just heard six songs . This guy is awesome.
There seems to be a tribute album out to him with some real nice artists.

Yes you should definitely go. I saw Chris back in 1997 in a small venue and he was great. I bought a seedee and got him to sign it. He is an unknown and underappreciated talent.

Many of his albums are fantastic, but I recommend (in particular) checking out his live album "Live As I'll Ever Be (2000)".  Also recommended highly his two-disc retrospective "Still On The Levee (2014)".  Reminds me, I really need to make a point to see him live some time.....never have (so far).
