Please indicate whether you plan to attend the October 23/24 meeting AND please vote which day you prefer. Or, if you know you're not coming, please vote that way... I'm curious as to how many people know about this meet so it'd be good to have a count of how many AC'ers there are watching.

There is a Piedmont Audio Society meeting on the 24th and I was going to invite some of them to the meeting if we did it on the 23rd. However, this is our meeting so, having the best date for us is the most important.

I fixed it... I thought I added it before but, I don't think I 'added' the option when I setup the poll... just submitted. oops.

I also changed it to be a yes/no scenario. Please reply if you plan to make it so we'll know who's coming.

This is why Carlman is our fearless leader. You were right. The thread was TOOOOO damn long for a real decision on the meeting date. I vote and voted for the 24th.
I can NOT attend the 23rd.

I assume since I'm hosting, you've assumed that I will indeed make it. But as I mentioned in the other thread, for you attention-deficit members

, I voted for either day. Since the VS rep is being generous and loaning the db99's, he'd obviously appreciate the widest exposure we can reasonably afford them. Is it possible to also post numbers of 'outsiders' who would have a preference and could/would commit to only one of the days?

BTW, I haven't learned anything new... Looks like it doesn't really matter which day we have it.. So, I'll leave it to the organizer(s) to decide what's happening and when.

If we get together on the 24th I can still attend, but if the majority decides on the 23rd, then I will not be able to attend.

the 24th is still the date.... I'm working with the rep to see when I can get the speakers down to Tim's and setup.... it might be sooner rather than later Tim... are you going to be around this weekend??? It might happen then....

If Tim is up for it and things work out where the speakers show up early, we could do both days... not that I want to volunteer Tim's house or anything

YGPM. Yes, let's keep Sunday 24th as 'the' day for our gathering. That said, if there are a few of us who can't make it Sunday and would like to come over Saturday or some evening, just contact me and I'd be happy to try to accomodate. If we seriously would attract several people on Saturday who couldn't come Sunday (say from PAS or CAS), I may be able to schedule that.

As I mentioned in the 'so little interest' thread, Wayne is sending the JJAZ amps as well. We are going to have BOTH the 1kW monoblocks, AND the 500W stereo amp - along with a nice assortment of cables.

I plan to come. I can bring one or two large piece of foam to be placed behind the speakers, if Tim is interested.

I think he is still going to demo a bit for some folks that were interested, but couldn't make Sunday.... You'll at least get to see and hear some of the stuff, if not getting to see all the usual ugly mugs !

Bruno, yes please do. Apparently, our camping foams have been jettisoned in one of our moves. Although, with all the gear we've got I'm not sure if we'll have an unobstructedc corridor in which to place it!? Is this in current use at your place, or could you leave it (or maybe I can just borrow it again) for when some of the other speakers have left

.. I was most interested in what it would do on the 3.3's.

Vik, I sent you a PM. No one else has contacted me directly about Saturday, so I'm assuming given my proximity to Drew's house and the PAS meet, everyone that's interested was just going to commute to and fro on Sunday. I don't know h=who the other 2 of the 3 are here that responded can't attend ... Hantra and 996turbo maybe?
